I love this! This first chapter has really intrigued me and I like all the characters so far. Playing as an old vampire is a fun change of pace because I'm used to seeing mostly new vampires adjusting to their life - it's a bit like skipping the murder of batman's parents because I've already seen it so many times.
Just want to mention that because this is categorized as a book, it doesn't show up in a search for games, even interactive fiction games. I believe your intent was that it's meant to be categorized as a game.
The whole thing with Aida reminded me so much of me and my girlfriend. It was enough to get me to go back and not flirt with anyone at at all because I know I couldn't. I really hope that goes well...
Also, the red for the text when not hovered over is extremely hard to see for my protanopia self (the brighter red when hovering is pretty clear, at least). Would it be possible to add an option to change it or something?
Amazing!!! I love everything about this demo: the plot is captivating, the characters and their dynamics intriguing and I adore how the main character is an old, powerful vampire (plus all the customizable options!!!). I would say so much more but I don't want to make any spoiler, just let me say I'm sooo looking forward to future updates.
