Somethings never change.
Place after place you've been shunned, attacked or hunted. All for the blood that drips from your mouth. From the pain of a curse that was forced upon you. Only in a twin flame, someone just like you, have you ever found peace. Decades turned to two centuries as you travelled the world together, sharing the same burden.
Then they were gone. Dead? Alive? It didn't matter because you were alone.
Soon came the High Council. Older and stronger, they thrust you into a position you didn't want, forced to adapt to a new life while still grieving the one you lost. Overwhelmed and tired, you created your own brand of sanctuary, a safe place to drown out your feelings and numb the pain that never really left.
Now the very same people who pushed you into this position of power have come to reap what they feel is owed: End the vampire that threatens their power. Kill the Insurgent.
Who can you trust? Have you ever been more than a pawn? Does any of it even matter?

Play as a two hundred year old vampire coerced into killing the enemy of the High Council, a group of powerful ancient vampires. Learn about the High Council, the Hunters or the Packs as you track down this supposed enemy and decide who to support.

I've already fallen in love with Eddie. *sigh* The writing has a moodiness I adore. It just feels wrong in all sorts of right ways. The tension is brilliant.

Woahhh this was such a good interactive fiction, the story was quite intriguing and I love the MC I built up lol. I'm very curious about the history of this story as well as the characters, they're all quite intriguing and fun to read about. It also went well with those dark classical music playlist which really helped pull me in. Keep up the good work and good luck! Writing can be a pain but so worth it!

This is great so far, and I'm really looking forward to reading more! Really loving Eddie (I adore classically handsome guys) and I'm intrigued by Aleksander (any chance he is/could be a romance option? I love stoic RO's).
I did notice some spelling mistakes/wrong words/awkward phrasing along the way, but a beta can fix that up easily enough, so no biggie. :)
Thank you! I'm glad you like Eddie :D There are four ROs which are pretty set as of now. And betas are the dream, I'll be doing a big overhaul after Ch 3 is out, hopefully picking up those mistakes.

Chapter 2?
I love this! This first chapter has really intrigued me and I like all the characters so far. Playing as an old vampire is a fun change of pace because I'm used to seeing mostly new vampires adjusting to their life - it's a bit like skipping the murder of batman's parents because I've already seen it so many times.
The most intriguing and polished story experience focused around Vampires Ive read. Good job and keep up the great work.
